Prerequisite: Introduction to R for Absolute Beginners or some experience using R. This workshop is designed for beginner level R users who want to learn R’s data visualization capability. We will provide an overview of some popular data visualization packages and then go into more detail for some of them including: Base R plotting, lattice, and ggplot2. You will have plenty of opportunities to do hands-on activities on your laptop and work on datasets provided by the instructors. Using these R packages, we will show you how to make some simple graphs, such as scatterplots, histograms, line charts, boxplots, etc.  After this workshop you will have the foundation to use these tools to create graphs for your own research data. <Register here>
