Chen is a Senior Data Management Consultant at Johns Hopkins Data Services. She got her doctoral degree from the University of Maryland, Neuroscience and Cognitive Science program. Prior to working as a Data Management Consultant, she studied bat echolocation and behavior for several years. Currently, she provides consultations to researchers on data management and sharing. In addition, she runs several popular data-related workshops at Hopkins, including a series of R workshops and reproducible research workshops.
