Dessislava (Dessi) Kirilova was trained as a social scientist and in her current role works to educate and assist social science and other researchers interested in making their research more transparent and their data as ethically sharable as possible. She also researches the policies and practices of various academic stakeholders (researchers, funders, journals, IRBs) that impact data sharing. More broadly, she publishes and presents on topics around data management and sharing, qualitative data curation, the ethics of data sharing, and research transparency in the social-behavioral domain.
