Nancy is the Scholarly Communications Librarian for Johns Hopkins University’s Welch Medical Library; her research interests lie in open access, open data, open science, and data ethics. She received her MLIS from the University of British Columbia and B.Sc. in medical genetics and animal biology. Previous to JHU, she was the data librarian/coordinator for the University of Washington’s Network of the National Library of Medicine (NNLM) Region 5 in Seattle.
