NOTE: MathWorks’s courses in the “Looking for more courses?” section are not included in the Johns Hopkins subscription, but are available at a 50% discount.

Choosing your MATLAB E-Learning Courses

Those new to MATLAB can find short (a few hours) introductory trainings at the top in the Getting Started Section – especially the MATLAB Onramp and Simulink Onramp.

More advanced one to three day courses are in the Core MATLAB and Data Science sections.

Computational Math Courses are narrower in scope than Core and Data Science courses but dive deeper into specific methods than Onramps.

Three of the most popular introductory course are:

  • MATLAB  Onramp
  • MATLAB Fundamentals
  • Deep Learning Onramp

If you prefer training via a MOOC environment (Massive Open Online Courses), search for MATLAB on Coursera, Mooc-list, or EdX – See also the MathWorks YouTube Channel
